Locally Grown Vintage

So, if you’re in Australia, and you’re looking for vintage items, come to my online shop.   Lots of you do!  If you’re in New York and you’re looking for vintage items, come to my online shop.  Just sent you something this week!  If you’re in El Paso and you’re shopping for vintage items…wait, you know what I’m going to say, don’t you?

What if you’re in Pensacola, Florida or somewhere within driving distance?  Do we ever have vintage items that are too large or too fragile too shop?  Actually, we do!  We’ve just closed up our booth at an antique mall here in Pensacola, so we don’t have a “show room” for larger vintage pieces.  What to do with them?  Well, I could post them on craigslist or feature them on Pinterest.  OR, I could let you awesome folks here see them!

I’ll list these pretties on etsy as well, available for local pick up only!

This gorgeous vintage chalkboard just went into the shop today.  It’s a fabulous find with a wooden frame, a chalk ledge and a heavy slate board!

Take a look at this precious vintage pie safe or petite hoosier.  Someone took their time to refinish pieces of it but the sweet nature of it remains!  Two upper doors, two top drawers, a fold down door and shelf, two bottom drawers and two lower doors.

James was actually able to cut some panes of glass to fit into the top doors.  It’s completely adorable now.  I can imagine this being used in so many ways!

  1. as a pie safe
  2. entertainment center (that large door folds down!)
  3. as a desk!
  4. hoosier
  5. arts and craft work station
  6. nursery piece

So many possible uses for this sweet, sweet piece of furniture!

  1. Some days you just need a little visual inspiration to get going on a project. That’s why we first started a Pinterest board for Woven Accents. It turns out that visual motivation is much more than a tool to get out of a design dry spell, it’s a great incubator for daily creativity. Besides the slightly addictive act of discovering and coveting beautiful and stylish images from infinite sources, our Pinterest boards have become a place for growth and a home for our vibrant collections. We are able to share some of our most popular and unique vintage rugs from both our antique and modern rug lines as well as create inspiration boards of some of our favorite items within the genres of interior design, objects of beauty, color palettes, and architecture. We picked a few of our most visionary items from our collection on Pinterest to share with our readers.
